In 2011, we created a Dialer which only function was to call 100 patients over the age of 65 and remind them to take their Medications. This program ran for 90 days. It reduced Emergency Room visitations and Hospital re-admissions in 90% for this group of patients. The call was very simple, "Press 1 if you have taken Metoprolol. Press 2 if you need more time or Press 3 if you need help". Very simple, if the patient needed help, an email was sent to the Doctor's Office and a Text Message to nurses on call. If the patient was not in compliance, because did not confirm taking the medication or simply did not answer the phone calls, alerts were also sent to the Doctor's Office and that is when the Doctor engages, which is the whole purpose of Remote Patient Monitoring and avoiding costly Emergency Room visits. Same year we created the Windows Tablet to Monitor the patient's Vital Signs with USB Medical Devices. In 2016 we created the Android Tablet with Bluetooth Medical devices.
